These Knipex Installation Pliers combine 6 functions into one pair of pliers; grip flat and round material, bend, deburr, cut cable, strip and crimp wire ferrules. With slim dimensions for easy access, and a bolted joint for precise, zero backlash operation.

The pliers are fitted with multi-component grips, are VDE tested up to 10,000V, are safe for work up to 1,000V, and conform to DIN EN / IEC 60900. The Knipex Pliers also have an integrated, insulated tether attachment point for a tool tether.

The jaws have: smooth surfaces near the tips grip single cores without damaging them, serrated gripping surfaces, and pipe grip for gripping flat or round material. The pliers have a clear-cut outside edge on the gripping surfaces for working on flush-mounted junction boxes, and deburring feed-through holes.
